About me
My lifelong passion for Nature, Well-being and the Arts set me on the path to achieve a teaching degree at Bretton Hall College in Music & Inter-Arts; this has led to many fulfilling years of teaching the arts in schools, being a community music animateur and a creative community project lead.
My practice involves bringing people together to share meaningful, joyful moments and to create lasting, happy memories; to build friendships and kinship through accepting one another and finding the beauty within ourselves, each other and the natural world around us. These can range from a short-term ‘Lantern’, ‘Let’s Wiggle’, ‘Samba/Drumming’, ‘Paint & Paddle’ project to a more sustained ‘Twiddlers’, ‘Pan Steelers/Silver Seas Steel’, ‘Growing’ project, all of which aim to give individuals the opportunity to thrive.
