Willow Workings & Samba Grooves

I love working with willow; whether it’s lantern making, weaving, sculpting or leading a lantern-making project. The way it brings communities of all ages gently together to create beauty and magical memories with lantern projects.

Also, how it combines so well with community samba bands; whether they are pop-up ones, just for the purpose of a local lantern procession or they involve linking up with an established band.

How it allows you to express yourself and your emotions with ease and little expense! This is a personal project I worked on recently to deal with a challenging time in my life;
